Hi, I am Jamie Holloway. I live in Austin, Texas with Biscuit, my four-year-old Labrador and the reason this site exists. When I first started taking Biscuit on longer road trips, I kept running into the same problem: a lot of dog gear advice looked polished, but it did not answer the awkward questions that come up in a real car, hotel room, parking lot, or rainy rest stop.

I started petdog in 2023 to make those decisions easier. The site focuses on dog car safety harnesses, travel bags, road-trip planning, night walking gear, seat covers, bowls, carriers, cleaning routines, and the small backup items that make travel less stressful. Some guides are hands-on notes from gear I have used with Biscuit. Others are research-based buying guides built from product pages, safety language, sizing charts, owner complaints, and practical trip scenarios.
